As the recession set in and the snow continued to fall, January 2009 could have quite easily gone down as one of the coldest and most depressing on record. Re Legal decided to change that by hosting a well-timed drinks party in conjunction with the MYSG, appropriately named the ‘January Blues'. Held in the chic Great John Street Hotel in Castlefield, a turnout of approaching 150 young solicitors braved the weather and settled in for the evening in style.
Drinks were flowing, and once again the hotel didn't fail to disappoint with a fabulous collection of bacon and sausage butties and homely fish and chips. Thanks go to Simon Lewis, Lucy Dennison and the rest of the MYSG Committee for assisting with the preparations, and the Great John Street Hotel for providing such luxury surroundings and service.
